O przesadnie dużych nerkach mówiło się już przy okazji ostatniej serii 7 i modelu X7. Ale ostatnie BMW serii 4 oraz M3 i M4 sprawiły, że o wspomniane wcześniej wcale nie wyglądają na zbyt wielkie. Tymczasem ci, którzy widzieli czwórkę i emki na żywo, coraz częściej mówią, że te samochody wcale nie wyglądają źle, a agresywnie stylizowany przód całkiem do nich pasuje.
Do tego trzeba wziąć pod uwagę, że to nie jest najbardziej kontrowersyjna konfiguracja, jaką można sobie wyobrazić
Że mogło być jeszcze ostrzej (żeby nie powiedzieć jeszcze straszniej), przekonują mnie dzieła Khyzyla Saleema, tworzącego w sieci pod pseudonimem the_kyza. Od dawna podziwiam jego rendery i czasem musiałem się namyślać, czy to co widzę, to faktycznie tylko superralistyeczne grafiki, czy jednak gdzieś na świecie faktycznie powstają tak odjechane projekty.

THIS IS NOT MY FIX FOR IT, I repeat, this is NOT my fix for it! This was purely to see IF it has any potential from stock (ish). 🤢 *F80 USED AS BASE hence it not looking exactly like the new M3/M4* BONUS SHOT AT THE END 😂 what would you like to see done to it? V1 of my G80 Front end alternative design, using the F80 M3 (so focus only on the front end) as a base. I went for an aggressive look, and I'm pretty happy with the result! Can't beat the previous gen design though. Ha – – This time round I shrunk the Grill openings & widened them a bit whilst and adding a second layer to it (I have a version without the Kidney Grills also). Also added some more aggressive cues to the lights, and venting with the addition of angular splitters and front pieces, which I think help quite a bit! – – I didn't want to stray too far away from what @bmw designs, so I still kept the big grill design, but tried to alter it more to my tastes. W pierwszej chwili stwierdziłem, że to straszna szkarada, ale im dłużej jej się przyglądam, tym bardziej zaczynam się do niej przyzwyczajać. Przeprojektowany grill jest trochę mniejszy niż w oryginale, a całą uwagę skupia na sobie fantazyjnie zaprojektowany zderzak z szeregiem wlotów powietrza i dodatkowym oświetleniem. Wygląda krzykliwie i superagresywnie, pewnie trudno byłoby czymś takim jeździć na codzień, ale z drugiej strony – pasuje do ostro pociętych reflektorów i porzeźbionej pokrywy silnika.
Im dłużej oglądam te rendery, tym mniej razi mnie oryginał, który nagle przestaje być taki kontrowersyjny. Może po prostu trzeba się do niego przyzwyczaić? Bangle’owej piątki też na początku nie rozumieliśmy, a dzisiaj trudno uwierzyć, że to auto ma juz 17 lat. Może G80 też wyprzedza swoją epokę?
